A lot of times, our biggest challenge turns into a doorway that opens for us. Allison shares that her first breakthrough ensued when dealing with a customer with curly hair that she could not mend. So she and the customer started working together to figure out what to do with curls. It took them down this path of creating to specialize in curls, and people began seeking them out for their knowledge base, and it blew up from there. Having been in the business for an extended period, she started to feel burnt out in dealing with clients. So she decided to take a long break and tend to her kids. Bored with doing nothing, she followed a piece of advice from a friend and started listening to Bigger Pockets and other real estate investing podcasts. This burnout and boredom paved the way to real estate investing, resulting in another life breakthrough where she can spend more time with the people that matter without worrying about cash flow. The Anatomy of Wholesaling with Satch Bernhardt
Monday Nov 14, 2022
Monday Nov 14, 2022

Satch explained that getting traction involves volume and time. One has to do a strategy multiple times and for some time. He also talks about cold calling as a marketing technique, its four pillars, and more! So tune in to this episode of The Rent Roll Radio Show with your host, Sterling Chapman, to know more!
Outline of the episode…
- Satch’s mission

- What is wholesaling
- Direct-to-seller marketing techniques
- The four pillars of cold calling
- Radio round
About Satch Bernhardt…
Satch Bernhardt is a former airline pilot for a U.S. carrier. In 2018 he began his career as a real estate investor by flipping houses. Unfortunately, in 2020 his airline shut down. Fortunately, he had already established himself in the real estate industry, with his business producing enough income for him. Still, he knew how many of his peers were really affected by this. This was a turning point in Satch’s mission with real estate.
He realized how a pilot’s life could change so quickly. But, unfortunately, in the airline industry, you don’t carry over your longevity to another airline; you simply start at the bottom like everyone else.
Also, as a pilot, you can develop a medical condition that results in the inability to pass a first-class medical.
Airline pilot careers are very fragile.
This is why Satch started Bernhardt Capital to help all pilots get on the flight path to financial freedom through real estate.
Through Bernhardt Capital, pilots invest alongside him in large value-add multifamily deals across the sunbelt.
These types of investments require zero time and no real estate experience from the pilot. Simply invest and build up your cash flow and capital.
Imagine your life if you didn’t have to do any of those trips you don’t want to do. Simply drop them! You don’t need to work. ~
